Chapter’s 1-4
To Kill a Mockingbird is a profound story of a girl named scout that gives flashback of her life and shows old western life styles and will take you through all their mischievous tales and games. Scout lives with her father Atticus and her brother Jem. Her mother had died two years after she had been born. These chapters mostly center on their summers and the beginning of scouts first year of school. During the summer Dill who came to visit his aunt, Rachel Crawford, which he does every summer and has been the starting point of their tale. Because of him it had made Scout and Jem venture more towards the Radley’s house. When Dill had become more acquainted with scout and her brother he was told the legend of the Radley’s. Because of this Dill had dared Jem to go and touch the Radley house. Then during the ending of the school year Scout had seen two pieces of gum in a hole in a tree on the Radley’s house and had went there again only to find more things. During that summer Dill had come once again and had started a role-playing game like they would usually do of books and movies but instead had done the story of Boo Radley.

Well that is a great summary of what the first 4 chapters are all about. I do think though that more and more is being reviled about Boo Radly. I also find it interesting that his brother is still alive and lives in town. You didn’t really express what you thought about the book. You just stated the facts. But all in all great post, you’ll be hearing more from me as we progress into this assignment. I think that you know how to express yourself very well. This just seems like you got it from the internet. You seem to be festinated with boo. I am also, he is an interesting character. I also agree with the fact that this book is kind of like maze. I agree with the statement “flashback of her life and shows old western life styles and will take you through all their mischievous tales and games”. I’ll be posting more later.
