I believe that this is a very important quote because I like how it teaches you many things.  This quote has many ways that you could define it as such how you should think before you say some things so that you may not insult or be rude to someone.  And makes you think a lot more so that you can be more aware of your surroundings. It also teaches you that there are some things that should be at times left unsaid. It also show you that people can get irritated if they believe you are trying to be snobby and try not understand there level.  Another thing that this quote teaches you is the drive humans must have.  Just like when Calpurnia had said that if someone wants to change that they have to want to learn themselves.  To me these are some very important things that people should at least acknowledge and learn from it they do not already.
